The MIAA fall tournaments are underway for our Hanover Hawks. On Wednesday the volleyball team defeated Saint Paul Diocesan in convincing fashion, 3-0. Then yesterday, the field hockey team defeated Nipmuc 1-0 by scoring late in the fourth quarter and blocking multiple shots on goal in the final minutes.
Tonight , football will host the Minnechaug Falcons at 7:00 PM. Admission to the game is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Digital tickets are required and can be purchased at gofan.co.
On Saturday there is a soccer double-header at the Harry Gerrish Memorial Field. At 4:00 PM, the girls host Archbishop Williams. Then at 6:30 PM, the boys host Stoneham. Admission to each event is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens. Admission is FREE for students thanks to a sponsorship by the Don Bunker Insurance Agency of Hanover. Student tickets are still required for statistical purposes and can be obtained at the same site, gofan.co, as all other digital tickets.
The football and soccer games will be live-streamed by Hanover Community Television (HCTV). To watch the games, visit HCTV’s Educational Channel.
The MIAA website is a great resource for tournament brackets, seedings, pairings, and upcoming games. For your reference, the sports accessible on the MIAA site in which Hanover is competing are each in division 3, unless otherwise noted in this communication.

I love the Hanover Hawks website because of the sports they updated and talked about. They talked about every sport like they were playing or they were a SUPER fan. They told us how much each game cost, where the game was being played, and what time the game was being played. They also let the community know that some of the games will be televised on the Hanover Community Television. At the end of the article they posted the upcoming schedule for the athletic events.

This article appealed to me as a fall sport athlete who did participate in a pair of tournament games. The promotion of these games is very important because here at HHS, our athletics are something that bring the school and Hanover community together to cheer on our teams. In this article, leaving the dates and locations of the games, even away games, allow fans from the community to have the opportunity to attend the games which makes it good for the teams to have the support they need. The football game being mentioned is important because the games are often packed with fans. Hanover High fall athletics had a very successful season with most teams competing for the state title at a high level.

I really enjoyed this article as it touched all sports. I am very informed about the football team as my best friend is captain Dylan Rice. So I am very glad that this article fills me in with the other sporting events going on in Hanover. I am excited to see how the winter sports for the Hanover Hawks do.

I read the article about the fall sports tournament. The writer did a good job describing the different teams and the outcomes of the games that happened during the week. I especially liked the picture at the top of the screen. I also liked when the outlook of next week was described.

This article is great and very helpful to those students of Hanover keeping you updated with the latest news all available on this website. It is very helpful that they include the location of the games and the prices for people of other towns. Not only do they mentions the locations/prices, but it tells you what the sports team Winning/losing record which shows how dominate Hanover sports are to others with a good record. Even games are live streamed by Hanovers community television channel for those to watch at home. This was right when the tournament started for Hanover. I liked reading about the football team because I am actually in the picture for the cover of the article! They ended up steam rolling Minnechaug and I enjoyed seeing my friends play (Especially bestie Joe and bestie Dylan!)

I really enjoyed reading this article as I found it was both interesting and very informative especially for students at HHS. The article provided thorough detail and covered all the playoff games well. Providing the names of opponents, locations of games, and costs of admissions was insightful for anyone interested in attending these games. They also talk about the time place and what the theme is like hawiian or western. then they also talked about how much money it is going to be to get in there, and who to look for in the game. I thought all the Fall sports teams had a great run this season, but I think that the football team had the best run of the playoffs. The game they played against Minnechaug was nothing short of amazing. The team really came together and steam rolled Minnechaug. Also I think they did a great job talking about our teams captains.

I think as a school we had a great fall season and were successful in every sport, which makes it difficult to say goodbye to our amazing seniors and captains for every team.
